Baked Goods, Pizza, and Other Things You Can Make in a Toaster Oven

A toaster oven may not seem like it’s contributing much to a kitchen. But it is. At least, it can if there’s an awareness on how to use it. Here is a list of things you can make in a toaster oven. Recipes are available online detailing more about how to conjure up these tasty creations.

There are so many ways to make eggs in a toaster oven. You can, in fact, have them in a scrambled way, hard-boiled, or an omelet. Find your best recipe online and add in the vegetables of your choosing. Cheese, tomatoes, and spinach are favourites.

Yes, it’s true. You can make muffins in a toaster oven! Although space is limited, you can try a muffin recipe for mini-muffins or simply make smaller portions. This is great if you’re only making enough for one or two people.

Baked Potatoes

You can bake or roast potatoes in a toaster oven with ease. You will want to use a high temperature and bake them until they are golden brown. This is a great way to make fries as well. If you do end up cooking them up with some nuggets or breaded fish, you will want to ensure everything’s spaced out properly so that those meats cook all the way through.

Meatless Burgers

Oftentimes, meatless burgers don’t have to be cooked as thoroughly as real meat. In a toaster oven, meatless burgers meet their match. You can easily heat them up and crisp the outsides under the right temperature.

Flatbread Pizzas

If you have flatbreads on hand, take one and spread it out. Lay down a sauce and a cheese. Throw on some veggies and slide it into your toaster oven. That’s how you get pizza from your toaster oven. In minutes, you melt the cheese and toast the bread. For pizza when you need it fast, have some flatbreads on hand.

Roasted Broccoli

You can roast anything in a toaster oven. One of our preferences is broccoli because of how healthy of a vegetable it is. If you struggle to have your fair share of broccoli, consider adding some salt and topping yours with some cheese or oil.

Toasted Sandwiches

Unlike a toaster, a toaster oven allows you to stack a sandwich and toast everything together. You don’t have to turn or flip it. Just place it on the rack at the right temperature and instantly heat up the sandwich of your choosing. Try a spicy salmon, a breakfast ham and egg, or a chicken-turkey club.
