2019 was a huge year for Living.ca shoppers. From all across Canada, they came seeking high quality homewares, small appliances, storage solutions, and more. As we look at a new year, we’ve decided to compile some of Living.ca’s biggest selling items of 2019. We hope to see customers from BC to PEI return in 2020 to catch new sales, discounts, and new items coming through our warehouse. Until then, here are the best-selling Living.ca products of last year.
Storage
A home can’t be too organized. We saw customers come in for a foldable laundry basket, collecting and separating darks from lights and colors. Numerous orders were put in for a DIY portable wardrobe closet. These were particularly preferred by university students, travellers, condo dwellers, and people renting out a single room.

Tools
Living.ca isn’t relied on heavily for tools but when you dig into the catalogue, there are some amazing deals ready to be combed and considered. Some of our biggest sellers in 2019 were cabinet door cupboards hinges, solar motion sensor lights, high bay light LEDs, and a kitchen faucet single-handle pull-down style with spring. Whether you’re completing some minor renovations around the house or want to install a few extra security measures in your garage, Living.ca’s a place to look.

Pet supplies
Pet supplies are notoriously very, very expensive. Go to any PetSmart or similar pet stores in Canada and you’ll see what we mean. When you order without going through a third party, you’re saving a little bit of money and getting it sent straight to your door which is, of course, very convenient. The most popular pet supplies of 2019 included multi-level scratching trees for cats and kittens, and a dog crate and kennel with opening door.

Small appliances
For kitchen, bedroom, and everywhere in between, who doesn’t love a high-tech home appliance? One of the most popular small appliances in 2019 was a wireless Bluetooth weighing scale connecting to your smartphone. Another key recommendation came in the form of an essential oil diffuser. Create the environment for yourself in your home that you want – with technology and low-cost appliances giving you functionality you didn’t know you could have.

Household products
Lastly, there’s a wide array of household products distributed among various categories consumers love shopping for. They’re all low-cost but they can add a whole new dynamic to rooms, such as the motion-activated LED toilet night glow.

2019 was a year filled with massive sales, record-setting discounts, new customers, and was all around a very busy time for Living.ca. We hope to see Canadians return in 2020 for what we’re aiming to be another big year for our growing brand.
